Rachael’s journey in real estate and hospitality began with her upbringing in Alameda and her academic pursuits at the University of California, Berkeley, where she earned a Bachelors in Business Administration with a minor in Finance in 2004. From her early days in the mortgage industry during San Francisco’s startup boom to her role as a Production Manager for a lifestyle and hospitality brand, Rachael has cultivated a deep understanding of the industry and its nuances.

Having lived and worked in various cities, including Los Angeles, Atlanta, and San Francisco, Rachael brings a global perspective to her work. Her experience as a rental property owner gives her unique insight into the challenges and opportunities of real estate investment, allowing her to guide clients through the process with confidence and ease.

Josh’s culinary journey began in his hometown of Rockridge and Berkeley, where he developed a love for food and hospitality. After graduating from Berkeley High and dual-majoring in Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management at DVC, Josh set out to explore the world’s culinary landscape. From Thailand to India, Australia to Japan, he honed his craft in some of the world’s most renowned kitchens, working alongside Michelin-rated chefs and mastering the art of fine dining.

In 2010, Josh fulfilled his dream of opening his own restaurant, showcasing his innovative approach to cuisine and commitment to quality ingredients. Over the years, he has earned acclaim for his culinary creations and entrepreneurial spirit, successfully transitioning from restaurant owner to catering business owner and, most recently, the proprietor of a thriving healthy salad restaurant.

In 2023, Rachael and Josh decided to combine their expertise and passion for real estate, joining forces at Leasing Pros Oakland. Their shared values of professionalism, integrity, and client satisfaction drive their work, as they help clients navigate the complexities of the real estate market with confidence and ease.

Outside of work, Rachael and Josh enjoy indulging in their shared passions for cooking, gardening, and travel. Rachael is dedicated to becoming fluent in Spanish and explores her love for Latin American culture through annual trips to Mexico City and Buenos Aires. Meanwhile, Josh continues to pursue his culinary interests, plays the piano, and tends to his garden with care.
